REQUIRED TOOLS

Wrench to size

STEP 1

Release the brake:

in the case of a bicycle with wire brakes, loosen the cable brake to allow the release of the jaws and therefore their expansion;

To do this, with a hand squeeze the pads towards the wheel, in order to release the tension of the cable brake and with the other hand try to unhook the cable lug of the same cable from its housing.

With rod brakes remove the padsfrom their supports by loosening the screw connection to the bow.

STEP 2

Loosen the wheel holding nuts with the wrench,

There is no need to remove the nut from the wheel.
