STEP 1
Buy new brake pads. If you have the make and model of your bike, a bike shop can probably provide you with the correct pads.
There are "universal" pads available at discount stores, but they usually only work on cheap bikes .

STEP 2
Remove the nut and washer from the brake old pads .
While holding the screw with your finger, insert the new pad, making sure to keep it in alligned to the rim.
Fix loosely the nut and washer hand .

STEP 3
Rule then alignment of the pad to the rim and keep a distance between the pad and the wheel of about 2 mm.
The brake pad must not touch the circle in rest position. The two pads must touch the circle at the same time during the stop, without touching the cover.
The fine adjustment can be achieved by acting on the adjusting screw placed in various positions that depend on the types of brake used.
Once secure, tighten with the Allen wrench screw

Attention: Test the brakes after each processing, pedaling slowly and trying to curb
