HANDLEBAR

A correct adjustment of the bicycle handlebar ensures comfort and maximum performance both on road and on dirt.  Children bikes need adjustments every year.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN ...

What kind of Bike dio you use? The handlebar position depends on the type of bicycle.

Road bike: The bicycle racing handlebar should be slightly lower than the saddle in order to maintain good control at high speeds and minimize aerodynamic friction.

Mountain Biking: The handlebar should be lower than the saddle. The center of gravity in this way, provides a better balance when dealing with the dirt.

Tourism: The handlebar should be slightly higher than the saddle to reduce fatigue and provide comfort.

Determine handlebar configuration. There are two types: with Stem/Pipe and without. A handlebar with stem/Pipa has a pin that is inserted into the head tube and secured with a nut. A handlebar stem or without Pipa is structured so as to engage around the tube of the steering.
