Allen wrench to size

STEP 1

Buy new brake pads. If you have the model of your bike, a bike shop can probably provide you with the correct pads. 

There are "universal" pads available at discount stores, but they usually only work on bikes cheap.

 

STEP 2

Loosen the screw. Using an Allen wrench to fit, loosen the screw that stops the shoe.

STEP 3

Slips off the pad. remove the pad.

STEP 4

Place the pad and tighten the screw. Check carefully that you have correctly positioned the pads at 90 °, the pads must not touch the tire. 

 

NOTE: both pads must be at the same distance from the rim, if you need to make adjustments coma shown.

Check that you have made a good repair, performs a test before using the bike, in case you encounter any problem, please contact your trusted bicycle repair shop.

Attention: Test the brakes after each processing, pedaling slowly and trying to curb
